how to grow lyophilsed Lactobacillus acidophillus?

i need to isolate the pure form of Lactobacillus acidophillus for my project.i hold got different drugs which hold L.acidophillus in it. so how must i grow these from this source. The lyophilised germs is first to be gradually brought to room warmth. This has to be done at a snail`s pace to prevent the thawing affect which may annihilate the bacterium.
The bacterium can then be cultured on a selective atmosphere available readymade in the marketplace.
In case of isolation from drugs, prepare a serial dilution and streak on selective medium. Look for typical colonies and prepare the pure culture.
do you have to isolate it from the drugsa? If they are lysed afterwards they are probably dead. It might be easier to isolate them from milk or yogurt.
