How to become an ophthalmologist? Do we involve to hold a medical scope to become one?

Or is it like the dentist? Can an optometrist become an ophthalmologist? how?? You must jump to medical school to become an Opthalmologist. It requires a specialty residency program after medical university. An optometrist can only become an opthalmologist by going through matching process.medical school and residency.
It is a medical / surgical specialty
Yes - take about 12 years
Ophthalmologists are medical doctors, which is college, medical university, and then usually a fellowship contained by an ophthalmic sub-specialty. Optometrists can become ophthalmologists as long as they go to med college. Optometrists are college and a 2 year optometry degree from an attributed school.
u must study a 4 year pre-med course beforehand the med course itself. i recommend a pre-med course in BS Medical Technology. ;)
Yes! it's Gist a thing of time!
