It depends on the disorder and the individual. Treat all inhabitants gently, distribute them time and space, and as one of the answers above says, BE THERE FOR THEM.
Treat them one and the same as you would with anyone else.Otherwise they might pick up on it, and that'll gross them feel unsuccessfully.
If they tend to act out or may be prone to bombing I would just be on my guard/try not to utter or disagree strongly eith whatever they are discussion about.
